About this Recipe:
Sheida: This is a healthy Vietnamese Soup. It's very easy to make and very delicious.

Main Ingredients:
Tamarind soup base: 30 grams (Knor Brand for example from the Oriental section of your store)
Mushrooms: 450 grams (1 lb)
Fresh ginger: 1/4 cup, diced
Fresh basil: 15 leaves
Hot chili sauce: 1 tbsp
Jumbo Shrimps: 400 grams, pealed
Udon Noodles: 2 packs
Fresh green onion: 4 springs
Dried basil: 1/4 cup
Canned sliced bamboo shoots: 225 ml
Directions:
1. Bring 8 cups of water to boil and add 30 grams of tamarind soup base (less than a package).
2. Add 1/4 cup diced fresh ginger to the soup base.
3. Add 450 grams of mushrooms.
4. Add 1/4 cup dried basil.
5. Add 225 ml. Canned sliced bamboo shoots.
6. Add 2 packs of Japanese style Udon Noodles.
7. Add 1 table spoon of Sriracha hot chili sauce.
8. Bring the mix to boil and let it cook for 10 minutes.
9. Add 400 grams of Jumbo shrimps (peeled) and leave it for 8 minutes.
10. Garnish the soup with fresh green onion and basil leaves.
