About this Recipe:
Mick: This is a very old recipe and according to the lady that gave it to me, these scones are not handled with care, and they have won prizes at fares.

Main Ingredients:
Self raising flour: 2 cups
Powdered milk: 1/2 cup
Butter or margarine: 4 oz (1 stick), melted
Icing sugar: 1 tbsp
Cold water: 1 cup
Egg: 1, beaten
Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Sift flour, powdered milk, salt and icing sugar together 3 times.
2. Place in a bowl, add melted butter and water, knead well on a floured surface.
3. Bang the dough with both hands really well.
4. Roll dough to desired hight and cut into rounds. Place on a greased oven tray.
5. Brush tops with a beaten egg and bake in a hot oven (375-400F) for 15-20 minutes or until golden. freeze well.
