whats the difference between All-purpose flour & whole wheat flour?

Navid, Member2009 Nov 27
Shaghayegh, Whole wheat flour contains the complete wheat kernel (germ and bran). In most recipes, you can replace whole wheat with all-purpose flour.

Thanks Navid

Best blueberrry muffin recipe that I've ever made

Joanne, Guest from: Manitoba, Canada2011 Jan 20
I was surprised to find the recipe didn't call for any salt but it sure was nice. I must say, one of the best blueberry muffins I ever did taste; lots of flavor and the whole wheat adds a nice twist. I normally cut back a little on the sugar and these were still sweet enough. Also, for the vanilla powder I used one package Dr. Oetker vanilla sugar. Because we only have skim milk in the house, I also mixed skim with a bit of 1/2 & 1/2 cream for a total of 1/2 cup. Great recipe!
