Beet Salad

About this Recipe:

Navid: This traditional Polish salad, is quite delicious and easy to make. For this recipe, you can also use canned beets Instead of fresh beets.


Main Ingredients:

Beets: 2 large
Cider vinegar: 2-3 tbsp
Sugar: 2-3 tbsp
Salt: a pinch


Directions:

1. Cook the beets in boiling water until tender, about 45 min. Alternatively, you can steam them.

2. Put them in ice water for 10 minutes. Peel and grate the beets.

3. Add cider vinegar, sugar and salt to them and mix well. Taste and adjust the sugar and vinegar.

4. Leave in the fridge for half an hour before serving.
