Navid: Bechamel or besciamella is a white sauce that is used in many Italian dishes. This is a modified recipe that uses Parmesan cheese for additional flavor. You can also add some nutmeg to this sauce.
Milk: 1 cup Butter: 1.5 tbsp Flour: 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese: 1 tbsp, grated Salt Pepper
1. In a small saucepan, melt butter.
2. Blend flour into the melted butter and cook for 30 sec.
3. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly.
4. Add salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Simmer the sauce on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
