Eastern Treats

The Iranian New year, Norooz (also spelled Norouz), marks the first day of spring which is celebrated in many middle eastern countries. Traditionally, in the first morning of the new year, the first person up brings sweet cookies into the house as a means of attaining a good new year. Here is an early preview of Norooz sweet taste.
